All well on the sailing vessel Fearless. We had a day of catching up on the rest, taking lots of naps, because we think tonight we may be quite active. We’ve also spent time putting a reef in the jib, testing the reefing in the main, and we’re getting quite good at reefing the jib now. This is our primary go to, as our first way of reducing sail area.
We’re really excited to hear about all the comments that there have been about the start of the race and the posts that are going online. We appreciate you following us and sending your good wishes. It means a lot to us as we’re out here on the high seas. I Can and I Will!

We now have a few vessels around us. It seems that several of us have picked the same spot to enter the stream. It’s nice to have a little bit of company.
We also found we had a problem with our AIS (Automated Identification System). We weren’t receiving any signals nor were we transmitting. We managed to fix the problem by putting in a back up antenna.
